IMPORTANT - READ THIS BEFORE INSTALLATION
Apreso Classroom only supports specific version of the capture card drivers. Before starting the installation, please confirm that version 6.06 of the Datapath Vision RGB Pro-1VGA capture card drivers are installed. If you are capturing video, you need version 3.1.0 or greater of the ViewCast Osprey drivers. These drivers are also available on the FTP site.

After the drivers have been successfully installed, navigate to the ACR folder and run ApresoClassroomSetup.exe and follow the instructions in the installation wizard.

Known Apreso issues
service quit There is a bug where the Apreso service randomly quits and does not restart itself. If this happens, contact IMS directly at x4959 and ask them to reboot the Apreso server in SC150. If IMS is not available, logon to the InstructorWeb page. If you see the system is showing “offline” status, open the services on that remote station (VNC to it), right-click on My Computer – Properties and select Manage.

Go to Services in the Management console and look for the Apreso service. Restart that service. Alternatively, you can also reboot the machine. After reboot look at the service as it sometimes will not automatically start as it is supposed to. –VS 4/3/07
