SQR Modification Procedures
We decided in the meeting that we would eliminate all files from SQR_WES in the test environment.
Each custom SQR will be tested in DEV.
SQRs/SQCs will be “checked out” by making a copy of the file with the developers name apended to the end of the file name. Once the programmer is satisfied that it is working properly the file will be updated (at a minumum) with a line item of UPG89 and the developers initials and a copy will be place in SQR_WES in the test directory structure. The original renamed copy of the file can be deleted from SQR_WES in DEV.
The command line will change to something like:
/psopt/autosys/run_ps_process.pl -c {ps89prod,ps89dev,ps89test} -f {test.sql,test.sqr,test.batch,psae.exe} -a“other parameters”
production jobs will run on pstux1 and all others will run on pstux2
